Colleen Edwards has been in love with the new home industry, its builders/developers and communities for more than 35 years. As the founder of EMC Creative, she was able to extend her interests as a marketing leader into public speaking side trips about the industry, authoring a book on market research, producing a real estate radio podcast program for KCBS, and holding leadership positions within the BIA of the Bay Area and CBIA. In 2006, in recognition of her career, she was inducted into the California Homebuilding Foundation’s Hall of Fame. Colleen has since shaken things up one more time, moving to the client side, and joining the amazing staff at River Islands to help launch an 11,000 home mixed-use master planned development. Colleen counts herself lucky to have had the mentorship of the late Dick Baker, and her career-long friendships with Cheryl O’Connor, Dennis O’Brien, Lynn Jackson and Chip Pierson.
