Through curated speaking, Spark Sessions facilitations &/or in person trade shows, she helps these populations dream bigger & accomplish goals beyond their wildest summit. She was the youngest of seven top women leaders in the largest homebuilder in the world, D.R. Horton Homes, during her 10-year tenure. Ironman finisher, 12x marathoner & Six Star Finisher (finishing all the World Major Marathons - London, Boston, Chicago, New York, Berlin, Tokyo). A Guinness Book of World Records Holder. Survivor of the 2013 Boston Marathon tragedy as one of the last five timed & scored finishers (10 yards from the first detonation). A founder of She Built This City, empowering women+ & girls in trades with onboard programs. Accomplished mountain climber with Kilimanjaro, W Trek, Iceland & Salkantay under her belt in some of the world's toughest conditions. Now, she's one of only 2% certified Women Business Enterprises (WBEs) in Construction with her company Spark Building Group - with an emphasis on welding/metal fabrication & general contracting. She is passionate about solving deltas for women & moving the needle of equity ? proving that welding is a STEM career & the GenZ will use welding science to put us on Mars with NASA & SpaceX. Before starting Bossy & Blissful, a wellness community for Black women executives and business owners, Regina served as the head of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) at Instagram. Regina has worked with Fortune 500 companies across various industries for more than 15 years, including Target, Intel and Micron Technology. In 2021, Regina was appointed to the board of the World Women Foundation and serves as a member of the advisory council for the University of San Francisco's engineering program. She is a graduate of California State University, Sacramento, in Communication Studies and holds a Master of Science degree in Organization Development from the University of San Francisco. She lives in the Bay Area with her partner, teenage son and their dog, Rocket. She is an avid reader who loves music, podcasts and yoga. Her first book, "Do You" will be published by Greenleaf Book Group, in partnership with Fast Company, February 2024. |

MARY HUSS Ms. Huss has served as president and publisher of the San Francisco Business Times since 1991 and the Silicon Valley Business Times since 2018. She previously worked on business journals in Philadelphia and |
St. Louis, as well as on the St. Louis Post Dispatch and the Riverfront Times, a St. Louis alternative weekly that she helped launch shortly after earning her degree in journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1976. The St. Louis native who thrives under challenging circumstances is credited with turning around the San Francisco Business Times and is renowned for her work to advocate for women in the workplace. Under her leadership, the paper has launched many annual awards programs, including the "100 Most Influential Women in Business" and the "Top 100 Women-Owned Businesses." In addition to her duties at the helm of the Business Times, Huss donates to numerous causes and charities, volunteers her time and serves on SF State's College of Business Advisory Board. |
