In his role as Director of Forward Planning he also supports the processing of DRE public reports and the start-up of Homeowners Associations for new communities. He is an active member of the Bay Area Building Industry Association serving on the Regional Policy Committees for the South and East Bay and has been a member of the BIA's DRE Committee since 2015.\n\n \n\n Mr. Lezak has worked in the Homebuilding Industry for the past 16 years specializing in land use entitlements\, plan and permit processing\, and financial analysis. During that time\, he has worked for several public and private builders\, as well as private equity investors and a real estate investment fund. Prior to his transition to the builder side\, Mr. Lezak worked for 11 years as an engineering consultant primarily on residential land development projects.\n\n \n\n Peter lives in Walnut Creek with his wife and daughter where he serves as the Vice Chair of the Planning Commission.\n\n \n \n \n \n \n Josh Rindlisbacher\, Ei Corporation\n\n Mr. Rindlisbacher is a former US Marine and Iraq Veteran who has been involved in the Real Estate industry for over 15 years. Originally from Salt Lake City\, UT\, he began his experience in both residential & commercial development overseeing the land acquisition and entitlement stages on multiple projects. Upon relocation to California in 2015\, Mr. Rindlisbacher began focusing on the energy component of building science and has become a trusted advisor to many in the industry as the Senior Consultant with Ei Corporation for the Northern California region. Her focus is the representation of residential developers throughout California. Ms. Costa has expertise in master planned communities\, mixed use projects\, condominium projects and Department of Real Estate regulatory matters. She represents numerous publicly held homebuilders\, urban mid-rise and mixed-use developers\, and developers of master planned communities in developing and processing projects and implementing programs associated with entitlement and sales activities. Ms. Costa also assists developers in preparation national form purchase agreement documents.\n\n \n \n \n \n \n Andrew Hay\, The Helsing Group\n\n Mr. Hay is the Vice President and Director of HOA Management at The Helsing Group\, Inc. He first joined the company in 2010 and has led the management division since 2012 where he is responsible for over 150 Associations throughout the Bay Area and Sacramento regions. He currently holds the Community Association Manager Executive (CAMEx) and Certified Community Association Manager (CCAM) designations with the California Association for Community Managers (CACM) and has specialty certificates in both Portfolio and New Development Management. Mr. Hay has helped develop and conduct a board member training course designed to teach developer board members their roles and responsibilities as fiduciaries for the Associations they serve.\n\n \n \n \n \n \n Chris Neri - Department of Real Estate\n\n Mr. Neri is the Assistant Commissioner-Subdivisions for the California Department of Real Estate (DRE). In this role\, he manages the Subdivision program statewide\, advises the Real Estate Commissioner on subdivision issues and ensures that DRE upholds the statutory mandates of the Subdivided Lands Act and the Vacation Ownership and Timeshare Act. He works closely with the California Building Industry Association (CBIA)\, the American Resort Development Association (ARDA) and the California Law Revision Commission. \n\n \n\n Mr. Neri began his career with DRE in January 1989 after graduating from Sacramento State University.
